About the position

The Manager of Detection and Automation Engineering will lead the incident response team, ensuring timely and effective responses to security incidents. This role involves developing and maintaining incident response plans, playbooks, and procedures, while overseeing the design and management of threat detection systems. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the incident response team to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans, playbooks, and procedures.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and management of threat detection systems and tools.
• Develop and refine detection rules, signatures, and use cases to improve threat detection capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive and manual cybersecurity tasks.
• Ensure automation solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 7 years of experience in cybersecurity; at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of incident response, threat detection, and cybersecurity automation.
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and SOAR platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.
