Manager, DevOps Engineering

About the position

Deloitte Services LP seeks a Manager, DevOps Engineering in Tampa, Florida. The role involves creating and managing an automated DevOps release management pipeline which delivers tooling for next generation application development efforts (the Dev) and on-going production operations (the Ops). The candidate will cultivate a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery mindset and collaborate with DevOps engineers and Cloud architects to support development teams with a full set of DevOps ALM tools. This includes leading the establishment of the right tooling and processes that will result in a fully automated release management pipeline, which encompasses the automated build process, environment setups, testing scripts, deployments, and production operational metrics/debugging information. The position also requires partnering with development and operations teams to facilitate practical automation solutions and custom modules, troubleshooting automation issues, and collecting and formatting data required for established KPIs to ensure performance is measured against expected business outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience as Manager, DevOps Engineering or related occupation.
• Experience designing and implementing Azure cloud environments and architectures.
• Experience identifying business requirements and performing requirements management.
• Experience utilizing Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience developing functional and technical system documentation utilizing JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience implementing and delivering full-life cycle solutions utilizing Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience designing, developing and establishing KPIs using KQL, AppInsights and Log Analytics.
• Experience building automation tools using Azure DevOps Tools.
• Experience identifying and integrating engineering tools for high-quality code.
• Experience implementing infrastructure and configuration methodologies using PowerShell Scripts, ARM, and Bicep.
