About the position

The Digital and Social Media Manager at Johnson & Johnson will lead the development and implementation of social media strategies to support the global orthopaedics business. This role involves collaborating with marketing partners, setting editorial strategies, and managing content across various platforms to enhance the company's reputation and impact in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling social media and digital strategies to elevate reputation and impact across orthopaedics.
  • Own the global orthopaedics social media strategy, editorial calendar, and execution for all social media channels.
  • Lead content creation efforts using tools like Shuttlerock and Canva.
  • Manage digital & social media budgets, direct agencies and freelancers, and coordinate with regional communicators.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote social activations and coordinate with vendors.
  • Counsel and collaborate with partners across various functional teams for fresh content.
  • Launch and optimize social media channels in partnership with agencies and internal teams.
  • Set governance and share standard methodologies for global corporate social media channels.
  • Monitor and flag AE/PQCs in accordance with company policy using social management tools.
  • Assess channel performance and develop metrics to measure success.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Minimum of six years of experience in communications is required.
  • Experience with social media and website management, crafting and curating content is required.
  • Authoritative knowledge of social platform capabilities and functionality is required.
  • Experience with interactive project types including responsive websites, mobile applications, and digital video is required.
  • Experience in a regulated industry is preferred.
  • Healthcare experience is preferred.
