About the position

The Sales Manager at Safe Haven Security is a leadership role focused on managing a team of Outside Sales Representatives who sell home security and automation products. This position involves a mix of fieldwork and office responsibilities, with 70% of the time spent in the field and 30% in the office. The Sales Manager will lead by example, providing coaching, training, and support to the sales team while also being responsible for hiring and managing sales leads.

Responsibilities

  • Interview and hire Outside Sales Representatives
  • Assign and manage leads
  • Track and audit sales
  • Conduct training and provide 1:1 coaching/development
  • Facilitate team huddles
  • Support the team by controlling attrition
  • Maintain and/or exceed minimum personal sales requirements
  • Motivate the team through phone and group chat communication
  • Conduct ride-alongs for new hires and struggling sales reps
  • Perform other duties as requested by Regional Sales Management

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Outside Sales experience, supervisory preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently with technical devices including laptops and tablets
  • Innate ability to lead and motivate others
  • Ability to travel within assigned territories using a reliable personal vehicle
