In this role, you will be an accomplished consultant and a trusted advisor to clients within the Insurance industry. You will leverage your experience to transform Insurance, Reinsurance, and Private Equity organizations, working across the C-suite to capitalize on disruption, enable competitiveness, and drive growth and profitability through continuous innovation. This is an in-office hybrid role, with locations available in New York, Dallas, or Atlanta. Your responsibilities will include supporting the day-to-day execution of consulting projects and ensuring successful delivery of client requirements within the scope of the engagement. You will own project planning and process management, communicate progress to clients and A&M leadership, and drive the development of content either directly or by guiding the consulting team. Managing client relationships on a daily basis, supporting project scope, and maintaining an acceptable pace of work will be key aspects of your role. You will also support multiple client and stakeholder relationships, contribute to the development of intellectual property within the Financial Services Industry, and engage with macro industry trends to generate thought leadership and innovative ideas. Additionally, you will provide mentorship and coaching to Consultants and Analysts, helping them develop their consulting skills and grow professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day execution of consulting projects and ensure successful delivery of client requirements within the scope of the engagement.
  • Own project planning and process management, communicating progress to clients and A&M leadership.
  • Drive development of content, either directly or by providing guidance to the consulting team.
  • Manage the client relationship on a day-to-day basis, supporting project scope and maintaining an acceptable pace of work.
  • Support multiple client and stakeholder relationships and networking within the client organization to understand their needs and influence the client agenda.
  • Contribute to the development of intellectual property within the Financial Services Industry, improving methodologies, tools, techniques, and developing new ideas and approaches.
  • Support business development efforts, building understanding of how to architect and position proposals and statements of work.
  • Engage with Insurance and Reinsurance macro industry trends, competitive dynamics, and disruptors to generate thought leadership and innovative new ideas.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to Consultants and Analysts to help develop their consulting skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Strategy Consulting and/or industry relevant strategy/corporate development experience supporting Insurance, Reinsurance, or Private Equity clients.
  • Experience in Growth Strategy and Business Model Transformation, Performance Improvement/Cost Re-engineering, Transaction support, Pricing and Revenue Optimization.
  • Outstanding problem-solving acumen leveraging strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to derive insights from large volumes of unstructured information to solve complex, ambiguous problems.
  • Ability to deliver impactful results from ideation to execution by working independently and collaborating within cross-functional teams across multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Exceptional Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
