About the position

The Manager, Lifesciences Commercial Analytics will lead commercial analytics projects for a life sciences account, working directly with clients and an offshore team to deliver comprehensive analytics solutions. This role requires extensive experience in life sciences analytics, particularly in consulting analytics, and involves managing complex projects related to sales and marketing for a major pharmaceutical manufacturer.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex analytics and consulting projects related to sales and marketing for a large US based pharmaceutical manufacturer.
  • Liaison with clients to understand complex business problems and define solutions.
  • Evaluate pharma data assets from various data providers to ensure quality and relevance for pharmaceutical research and commercial purposes.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis and data mining to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven marketing decisions.
  • Demonstrate analytics operations including brand launch support, customer segmentation, and market mix modeling.
  • Build Points of View (PoVs) and help structure Proofs of Concept (POCs).
  • Adapt to an onshore-offshore working model for better collaboration and communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in science with a focus on quantitative sciences or an MBA.
  • Extensive experience in the life sciences analytics space, particularly in consulting analytics.
  • Strong understanding of pharma commercial data sets and Salesforce hierarchy.
  • Proficient in managed care data such as claims and provider data.
  • Strong technical skills in Databricks, Pyspark, and SQL.
