About the position

The Manager, Brand Strategy in partnership with the Universal Destination & Experiences team will help in the management of the Universal Studios Hollywood (USH) brand. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Segment Marketing, this individual is a critical member of a team that aligns and fosters the growth of a brand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement short and long-term brand strategies that align with Universal Studio Hollywood and Universal Destinations and Experiences.
  • Understand and communicate to the target audience in partnership with overall strategy audience team.
  • Work with other teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA highly desired.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience, in consumer entertainment, travel, leisure, or theme park industry.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written while ensuring attention to detail.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken forms.
  • Superb relationship building and problem-solving skills; proactive, adaptable, collaborative, and resilient.
  • Ability to lead projects by influence and persuasion.
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Creative acumen, empathy, maturity, and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
