About the position

The Manager, Marketing Strategy at Follett Content Solutions is responsible for enhancing awareness of the company's preK-12 solutions through strategic marketing initiatives. This role involves developing tailored marketing and communication plans, creating marketing tools, and collaborating with various departments to implement lead-generating campaigns. The position requires a hands-on approach to grow the customer base and revenue through effective marketing strategies and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing plans and campaigns to acquire and retain customers.
  • Create strategic marketing plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Implement campaigns across various channels to upsell and cross-sell products.
  • Develop customer acquisition, retention, and reactivation programs.
  • Measure and report on marketing initiatives and their effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create innovative campaigns including email, social media, and traditional advertising.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies.
  • Support the sales team with marketing tools and training materials.
  • Maximize online presence and e-commerce strategies to meet market needs.
  • Establish leadership presence at trade shows and events.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the preK-12 education sector.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Expertise in selecting appropriate marketing tools to achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Direct experience in preK-12 educational services or publishing, with knowledge of literacy approaches.
