About the position

The Manager of IT Infrastructure and Support at Spurwink is responsible for overseeing the Helpdesk staff and managing IT infrastructure, ensuring effective support and implementation of technology solutions. This full-time role emphasizes work-life balance and offers opportunities for career advancement while making a positive impact in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Helpdesk Staff: scheduling, support, supervision, ensure accuracy and details of the work being done.
  • Implement new hardware and software solutions.
  • Maintain Helpdesk ticket system.
  • Manage and maintain telephony system: manage user accounts and extensions, phone installations, and system upgrades.
  • Maintain Vendor relations and contracts for services.
  • Use collaborative management practices, support effective communication and collaboration in all aspects.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and/or Technical School Certification preferred.
  • At least seven years of experience working with PCs, servers, and other network devices in LAN/WAN environment, cloud infrastructure, and virtual machines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication is required.
