About the position

Operating as a regional airline in the United States, Air Wisconsin Airlines performs flying services for American Airlines as American Eagle throughout the Midwest and East Coast, operating CRJ-200 regional jets. Our exceptional team is dedicated to making our travelers' experiences safe and pleasant. The Manager of Maintenance Programs primary responsibilities include administration and support of the Maintenance Program for aircraft operated under Air Wisconsin's Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program with minimal supervision from the Director of Quality. This role is crucial in ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, thereby maintaining the safety and reliability of our aircraft. The Manager of Maintenance Programs will promote and foster a safe and secure operating environment while providing direction and leadership by identifying and prioritizing changes to the Maintenance Program. This includes managing the process for Maintenance Program administrative change control, researching and analyzing proposed changes from external sources, and providing oversight and recommendations for changes to the Maintenance Program process through continuous improvement and surveillance processes. The position requires effective communication and coordination with the FAA, Reliability Board, and various Maintenance and Strategic Sourcing departments on Maintenance Program changes. Additionally, the Manager will develop Maintenance Program job cards, ensure that Maintenance Program limitations are accounted for by creating tasks in the computer tracking system (PMI), and validate the accuracy of limitations for each Maintenance Program change against manufacturer technical data. The role also involves developing and revising technical work instructions associated with Maintenance Program tasks, ensuring that changes are effectively and accurately implemented, and supporting Reliability Analyst's efforts to improve aircraft reliability through modifications to the Maintenance Program. Maintaining the accuracy and completeness of Structural Deviation Inspection Requirement (SDIR) manuals for aircraft and components as required by Federal Regulation is also a key responsibility.
