About the position

The Manager of Participant Communications will lead and strategize communications for participants in the financial services industry. This role is crucial for understanding participant needs and developing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance the digital experience for customers. The position involves collaboration with internal teams, managing external vendors, and overseeing the creation of impactful communication materials.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain solid partnerships with internal teams to coordinate, direct, and facilitate strategic communications designed to meet business goals.
  • Develop content and direct creative execution to consistently deliver targeted and impactful messages regarding customers experience focused within the UX & navigation on the site.
  • Design campaigns to target specific audiences, placing an emphasis on campaign performance to help with recommendations for future programs.
  • Understand key business challenges, customer behavior, target audiences, competitive activity, and environmental factors that impact programs within the business and assigned departments.
  • Contribute ideas for new programs, researching and recommending innovative branding techniques.
  • Work closely with leadership to identify cross-marketing opportunities and stay informed of developments in the field of marketing and communications within the industry.
  • Manage the development of website content and digital content, including understanding the technical aspects of mobile products and their capabilities.
  • Oversee the management of external vendors, negotiate contracts, maintain open communication, and work proactively with vendors to keep communications fresh and consistent.
  • Develop an understanding of short- and long-term department goals and planned initiatives, adjusting and communicating plan changes as necessary to ensure costs for materials, media, and labor are in line with the sales potential for a specific product or campaign.
  • Lead a team by setting achievable goals, tracking performance, providing guidance and mentoring, and managing a communications calendar to execute each year.

  • Experience in Communications management, Corporate Communications, Communication Strategy, and Communication Strategies
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Knowledge in Communication Materials and Communication Design
  • Expertise in Content Management, Content marketing roadmaps, and Content Marketing
  • Proficiency in Website Content and Website Optimization
  • Strong Management skills
  • Proven experience in Communications Management and Corporate Communications
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing Communication Strategies
  • Strong Communication Skills both written and verbal
  • Experience in designing Communication Materials and Communication Design
  • Familiarity with UX, Website Content creation and Website Optimization
  • Strong management skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team
  • Knowledge of Content Marketing best practices
  • Ability to strategize, plan, and execute communication campaigns
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with different teams
