About the position

The Product Manager for Operations at Velocity Black, a Capital One company, is responsible for enhancing and growing the luxury concierge service by collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders. This role focuses on optimizing product operations, refining workflows, and ensuring a premium customer experience through innovative technology and strategic product development.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance Velocity Black's luxury concierge offering.
  • Refine and deliver new and improved concierge operations workflows and automations in partnership with business stakeholders.
  • Optimize live internal products through rapid testing and improve the operations agent experience.
  • Prioritize the product roadmap to balance multiple priorities, including agent usability and business value.
  • Shape the product development roadmap for new launches and features.
  • Work with a collaborative team to create innovative concierge operational experiences.
  • Communicate and facilitate with various operations, product, and business partners to ensure product alignment with their needs.
  • Create a vision and roadmap for the product that addresses stakeholder needs.
  • Partner with analysts, data scientists, designers, and engineers to refine the roadmap and gather insights from experiments and product launches.
  • Define, socialize, and monitor key performance indicators to assess project success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
  • At least 3 years of product management experience or 2 years in product design, agile delivery, or business analysis.
  • Strong track record of owning and developing a product while managing stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in SQL to build data-backed strategies and troubleshoot issues.
  • Experience with internal-facing products and a willingness to challenge the norm.
  • Ability to manage day-to-day product operations, including identifying bugs and leveraging opportunities through data analysis.
  • A product-centric mindset to take a product from ideation to production and iterate improvements.
  • A customer-first mindset with a focus on enhancing customer experience.
  • Strong communication skills to present initiatives and create consensus among teams.
  • Ability to create and maintain a healthy team culture through thoughtful leadership.
  • Results-focused with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience translating business strategy into consumer-facing digital products.
  • Experience in internal operations agent-facing products in a technical or strategic role.
  • Experience working with and building high-end luxury products.
  • Understanding of end-to-end online travel agency or e-commerce workflows.
