About the position

The Manager, Project Management & Business Analysis role at Salesforce is a hybrid position that combines project management and business analysis responsibilities. The successful candidate will lead complex projects from inception to delivery while providing high-quality business analysis to support critical initiatives. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to ensure alignment with business objectives and to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple, sophisticated projects with cross-functional teams, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and budgets, and establish project results, milestones, and KPIs.
  • Foster strong collaboration with stakeholders, handling expectations and facilitating transparent communication.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of business processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Capture and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for project implementation.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops, process mapping sessions, and user story development to drive project clarity.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on current and future state processes, system functionality, and project impacts.
  • Support data-driven decision-making by analyzing and interpreting data, providing actionable insights to inform strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Consistent track record in leading large, complex projects within cross-functional and global environments.
  • Outstanding ability to gather, analyze, and document requirements, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheets) and business analysis tools (e.g. JIRA).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence partners at all levels.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience in guiding and mentoring project teams.
  • Proficiency in change management, risk management, and business case development.
  • Experience in and understanding of Customer Success Group/Professional Services with internal project management across cross-functional teams.
