Manager, Sales - Agency Operations Manager

About the position

AmTrust Financial is recruiting for an Agency Manager with an active P&C License for our in-house insurance agency focused on small commercial business. This individual will oversee comprehensive operations of the in-house agency including enhancing account management processes and administering the management of payables.

Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain strategic partnerships with payroll companies, retail agencies, wholesalers, banks & associations.
• Manages Nexsure System which is our AMS (agency management system).
• Update Nexsure as required to keep agency records accurate.
• Manage Nexsure CRM.
• Manage Nexsure Reports for accounting & underwriting.
• Effectively review, quote & bind new business for agency partners.
• Effectively review & renew renewals for agency partners.
• Train partners on AmTrust appetite & underwriting requirements.
• Collaborate with Underwriters to evaluate risks and provide coverage.
• Work with Senior Management to develop sales & business objectives.
• Keeps current with market trends and demands.
• Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field
• Licensed P&C Insurance Agent (preferably licensed in all states)
• Proven track record of successful insurance agency management & sales (preferably commercial lines)
• Knowledge of insurance agency operations
• Knowledge of insurance agency management systems (preferably Nexsure)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
