About the position

The Manager of Sales Strategy & Operations at SiriusXM will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth through strategic territory and customer segmentation. This position involves overseeing market data analysis, optimizing sales strategies, and providing actionable insights to enhance sales team effectiveness. The role requires collaboration with various departments to align segmentation strategies with business objectives and ensure efficient resource allocation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic segmentation of territories and customer accounts using advanced analytics and market research.
  • Establish and refine processes for routing inbound sales leads to appropriate sales teams.
  • Drive data analysis initiatives to identify trends and opportunities within specific territories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align segmentation strategies with business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain criteria for customer segmentation and account prioritization.
  • Identify areas for improvement in segmentation methodologies and analytical processes.
  • Develop reporting processes to enable sales leaders to review seller activities and results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations or related analytical roles, preferably in media or advertising.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and Tableau.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of segmentation techniques and methodologies.
  • Ability to develop and maintain sophisticated segmentation models.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • In-depth understanding of B2B ad sales motion and sales KPIs.
  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce and sales forecasting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with sales forecasting and pipeline analysis is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for communication and documentation.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $80,000 to $130,000 based on skills and experience.
