About the position

The Manager of Sales Strategy & Operations will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and optimizing sales strategies at SiriusXM. This position involves overseeing market data analysis, territory and account segmentation, and providing actionable insights to enhance sales team effectiveness. The role requires collaboration with various cross-functional teams to align strategies with business objectives and ensure efficient execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic segmentation of territories and customer accounts using advanced analytics and market research.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to optimize sales efforts and drive revenue growth.
  • Establish and refine processes for routing inbound sales leads to appropriate sales teams based on predefined criteria.
  • Drive data analysis initiatives to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within specific territories and customer segments.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Sales Marketing, Finance, and Business Intelligence.
  • Establish and maintain the 'rules of the road' for customer segmentation, including criteria for tiering accounts.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in segmentation methodologies and analytical processes.
  • Develop reporting processes and systems that enable sales leaders to review seller activities and results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in sales operations, market research, or related analytical roles.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, or similar.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of segmentation techniques and methodologies.
  • Ability to develop and maintain sophisticated segmentation models and rules.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • In-depth understanding of B2B ad sales motion and sales cycle optimization.
  • Familiarity with sales KPIs and the ability to leverage these metrics.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales forecasting.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $95,900 to $149,625 based on skills and experience.
  • Eligibility for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives.
