Job Description: The Strategic Finance Manager will be a key member of the Strategic Finance team, working to drive the rapid growth of United Urology by leading the evaluation of M&A opportunities. It will be a dynamic role that requires the ability to lead key deal processes and other strategic projects, evaluate detailed analytics, and communicate effectively with United Urology, OneOncology, and practice leadership. The individual should be an experienced and highly motivated self-starter, detail-oriented, comfortable voicing their opinion and asking questions, and able to work in ambiguous environments. The role will provide exciting growth opportunities for personal and career development within a high-growth healthcare company, as well as frequent interactions with the VP of Strategic Finance, exposure to OneOncology executives, and practice leadership. This is an ideal role for someone looking to gain experience in a high-visibility position within a well-capitalized, high-growth environment. While the individual will work primarily within the Strategic Finance team, the role will directly interface the Business Development and Operations teams, as well as functions including FP&A, Accounting, and Clinical Operations. OneOncology is growing rapidly and adding multiple new practices each year. The Strategic Finance team is at the center of our growth. Responsibilities

  • Drive Strategic Finance efforts to fuel United Urology's growth by evaluating M&A opportunities, including new anchor affiliations in emerging markets and acquisitions to grow existing practices.
  • Perform detailed analysis of key strategic projects including capital projects, practice growth opportunities, and service line expansion; collaborate closely with Operations and Commercial Operations teams to incorporate market research and practice specific inputs into the projections.
  • Execute M&A processes and diligence workstreams, including financial analysis, communication with target practices, and presentation of findings to management and business development teams.
  • Manage the preparation of materials outlining the investment thesis for presentation to our Executive Investment Committee.
  • Support the business development and Strategic Finance management teams in evaluating opportunities by identifying and evaluating key areas of risk and opportunity.
  • Responsible for financial models that support transaction deliverables, financial plans, and strategies.
  • Analyze detailed financial statement information including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and key operational data.
  • Synthesize and convert the data into meaningful information that is used to drive discussions with United Urology and OneOncology management.
  • Use the dashboards, metrics, and data infrastructure built by the Analytics team to rapidly answer RCM and operational questions for OneOncology stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or economics.
  • Ideal candidate will have at least 4-6 years of work experience with a demonstrated ability to lead detailed and complex due diligence processes (Transaction advisory, consulting, corporate M&A/finance, or investment banking experience strongly preferred/Healthcare services related experience strongly preferred, but not required).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong academic performance.
  • Understand fundamental GAAP and financial concepts.
  • SQL or PowerBI experience a plus but not required.
  • Data mining and modeling capabilities.
  • Ability to analyze and diligence information from various data sources into a concise message for senior leadership.
  • Must be energetic, highly motivated, and able to manage key projects independently.
  • Must be able to work in a fast growing, rapidly evolving business, often with multiple projects simultaneously.
