About the position

The Manager of Subways Resource Management and Administrative Support is responsible for overseeing the hiring and promotional activities within the Subways division. This role involves managing personnel actions, serving as a liaison with HR, and providing administrative support to senior executives. The position requires a strong understanding of HR policies and the ability to implement business process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate hiring and promotional activities for Subways' managerial and career positions.
  • Maintain relevant tracking systems for personnel actions.
  • Serve as the HR liaison, collaborating with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners.
  • Manage the hiring process for staffing direct reports to senior executives.
  • Provide administrative support to the Office of the SVP, ensuring timely processing of executive correspondences.
  • Create reports and coordinate ad hoc requests and special projects.
  • Research and recommend business process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Five years of experience in management, with at least three years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of HR/LR procedures and the hiring process.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in databases and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to conduct research using management systems and historical information.
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion.
  • Thorough knowledge of NYCT policies, practices, and Subway Operations.
