About the position

Responsibilities

• Develop an innovation program to implement pilot projects for renewable energy targets.
• Design new business models related to renewable energy.
• Provide recommendations on potential pilot partners.
• Share responsibilities in incubator management with team members.
• Recruit startup applicants for the Urban Future Lab programs.
• Conduct deal analysis and evaluation for potential projects.
• Support portfolio companies in their development and execution of programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related area.
• 5+ years of experience in higher education, project management, supervision, or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of experience in project/program management, consulting, or venture capital.
• Experience in a startup, government agency, or energy/utility company.
• Familiarity with New York State Reforming the Energy Vision (REV) policy framework.
• Experience evaluating applications for incubator or accelerator programs.
• Experience in teaching, coaching, or speaking at conferences.
