About the position

The Manager, US Card Executive Communications is a leadership role focused on developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies for senior executives within the US Card Leadership Team at Capital One. This position aims to enhance internal communications that align with the leaders' business strategies and foster a positive associate experience, all while promoting the organization's values and culture. The role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and engage with various stakeholders to drive effective communication initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a communications strategy that builds leaders' brand internally and brings organizational narratives to life.
  • Curate engaging experiences including leadership gatherings, all-employee meetings, and special events.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to executive communicators and chiefs of staff for effective internal communications.
  • Lead change management communications when necessary.
  • Draft leader talking points and review presentations.
  • Provide counsel on communicating business strategy and managing issues.
  • Evaluate communication performance based on metrics and recommend refinements as needed.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to drive communications in the best interests of the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing and implementing integrated communication strategies.

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong business acumen and executive presence with a history of cultivating trusting relationships with executive leaders.
