About the position

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of a Jack in the Box restaurant, ensuring a high-quality guest experience through effective staff training and management. The role focuses on building restaurant sales and profits while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall operations of the restaurant.
  • Train and lead restaurant staff to deliver excellent guest experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Interact with guests to maintain a customer service-oriented environment.
  • Respond to guest concerns and complaints professionally and timely.
  • Motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance.
  • Recruit, select, train, and evaluate restaurant employees.
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness inside and outside according to company standards.
  • Utilize management tools to analyze operational and financial performance.
  • Monitor costs to ensure adherence to budgets and goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a JIB Assistant Manager or similar role.
  • 100% certified in all workstations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a self-starter attitude.
  • Ability to stand and walk approximately 90%-95% of the shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs.
  • Must attain ServSafe certification or equivalent as required.
  • Proven analytical skills and good organization and planning skills.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance for travel to other locations.
