GA's Electromagnetic Systems (EMS) Group focuses on the military and commercial applications of advanced electromagnetic technologies, including power generation and distribution, magnetic levitation, laser and weapons systems, and systems design and engineering. The EMS Group supports government customers, which include the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, the Department of Transportation as well as a range of commercial customers. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer in our EMS group in Tupelo, MS. Under limited supervision, this position exercises moderate latitude for initiating and creating plans, executing procedures, developing techniques, and identifying solutions to technical issues for multiple Weapon Systems programs and projects. Assignments are normally outlined in terms of overall objectives, and anticipated results. Work is reviewed at milestones or at completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
