About the position

The primary function of the Manufacturing Engineer Intern will be to maintain functional capacity on the automated line(s) within our facility. You will establish methods for solving technical problems, implement production management tools, work on the installation of new and replacement parts and review software. In this internship role, you will have the opportunity to be on the floor to meet different challenges, make decisions and quickly see the results. You will build your own capabilities through the job experience, mentoring and training.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain functional capacity on the automated line(s) within the facility.
  • Establish methods for solving technical problems.
  • Implement production management tools.
  • Work on the installation of new and replacement parts.
  • Review software.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program in General Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering Major.
  • Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Ability to provide own housing near Clinton, MS area.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
