Manufacturing Engineer Intern

About the position

Schneider Electric's Global Supply Chain team has an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to assume the role of Manufacturing Engineer Intern in our Fairfield, OH location, for the Summer. This will be a full-time on-site position. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role. Responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement manufacturing equipment (fixtures, tools, machines)
• Product/component simplification and standardization which included analysis of existing components, research on alternatives and design of new component layouts
• Investigate, evaluate, document, and optimize existing manufacturing processes

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
• Possess leadership qualities and the ability to facilitate conflicts
• Self-motivated and self-directed with a sense of urgency
• Solid work ethic - honors responsibility and commitment
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills (English language)
• Proven ability to achieve results
• Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, problem solving, project management, and communication skills
• Ability to set overall priorities and form action plans to implement and monitor for results
