Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for Manufacturing Engineer Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The selected candidate will serve as a functional technical manager of our Manufacturing Engineering team, supporting critical tasks such as process design, planning, production support, and respond to production challenges related to cutting-edge military aerospace manufacturing (e.g. composite layup, cure, machining, assembly, metallic assembly, coatings, and subsystems). The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government SECRET clearance. The ideal candidate has several years of prior technical experience in aerospace composites manufacturing and assembly work and has prior project leadership and/or personnel management experience. The job requires approximately 70% direct technical work and 30% managerial. This on-site position is located at our Beavercreek, Ohio facility and is for the 9-80A day shift; Monday - Friday, with every other Friday off to enjoy personal time.
