About the position
Thales DIS Norge A/S is seeking a new maintenance technician to join our team in Norway. As a maintenance technician, you will ensure that daily operations run smoothly and meet service level agreements (SLA) for our customers. The team is based in Oslo, and this position is primarily at one of two production facilities centrally located in Oslo, but you will need to travel between locations regularly to resolve machine-related issues and perform preventive maintenance at both sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and daily service and troubleshooting of machines.
- Assist production personnel in operating the machines on a daily basis.
- Be responsible for spare parts and inventory management.
- Communicate with machine suppliers and their service desk.
- Work with both software and hardware components related to various solutions.
Requirements
- Must be independent, organized, and able to solve complex problems under pressure.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English.
- Strong communicator and customer-oriented.
- Ideally certified as an electrician (Fagbrev) or have a bachelor's degree in electromechanics.
- Must have a clean criminal record, as a police certificate and security clearance at a secret level are required.
