About the position

The Manufacturing Engineer will work with Safety, Test Engineering, and Shop Operations to develop procedures to ensure safe and efficient machine testing and maintenance at the machine Testing Laboratory. This role involves conducting risk assessments, developing safe job procedures, and facilitating the process from origination through review to publication. The engineer will maintain process document links and data in dashboards, document client requirements, research new technologies, and document and deploy solutions that help clients develop world-class products. Additionally, the engineer will review process breakdowns to understand root causes and develop corrective actions to resolve longstanding issues.

Responsibilities

• Work with Safety, Test Engineering, and Shop Operations to develop procedures to ensure safe and efficient machine testing and maintenance at machine Testing Laboratory.
• Conduct Risk Assessments.
• Develop Safe Job Procedures and facilitate the process from origination through review to publication.
• Maintain process document links and data in dashboards.
• Document Client Requirements.
• Research New technologies.
• Document and Deploy solutions that help our clients develop world class products.
• Review Process Breakdown to understand Root Cause.
• Develop Corrective Actions to resolve longstanding issues.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Engineering or Technical background.
• 2+ year minimum experience.
• Process Documentation.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Attention to details.
• Lean/Six Sigma.
• Project Management.
• A passion to seek to understand the needs of the clients and customers.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration mindset.

Nice-to-haves

• BA Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Technical Equivalent.
