About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited institution
• Three (3) years of engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Nice To Haves

• Technical experience in web handling, coating, converting, slitting
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
• Experience utilizing statistical tools in problem solving
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Quality Improvement and Cost Reduction projects

Responsibilities

• Drive manufacturing quality and productivity improvements in coating and converting operations
• Work directly with production operators and other plant personnel to improve and standardize processes
• Establish and train to best practice across all manufacturing operations
• Revise and optimize manufacturing process standards where needed
• Support the introduction of new products into the plant
• Support multiple engineering projects
• Monitor process OEE and initiate continuous improvement projects
• Lead and participate in multiple Lean and Six Sigma projects focused on product and quality system improvements
• Support extended value stream to maintain robust delivery of products to our customers
