About the position

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to become an integral part of our team. You will be participating in and supporting team engineering projects which include design, redesign, prototype, test, and transition to production of ice machine related products.

Responsibilities

• Participate in team manufacturing engineering projects which support the design and redesign of ice machine related products, and/or value engineering projects that provide continuation support of ice machine, ice storage and ice related products, accessories, and technology.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or a related scientific degree with emphasis in Mechanical Engineering and or Mechanical Design
• 1 to 5 years work experience in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Design (or equivalent) with an ability to develop product from concept to production
• Use of SolidWorks CAD package
• Knowledge of engineering and scientific principles
• Understanding and experience in product life cycle management
• Knowledge and understanding of Thermodynamics and the refrigeration cycle
• Understanding of regulatory and agency requirements such as UL, CE, TUV and NSF
• Ability to work in an engineering lab and manufacturing environment
• Ability to develop detailed engineering reports and provide updates to executive leadership
• Ability to work within policy and procedures but have the ability to make decisions as required
• Skilled at following set daily priorities; however the individual is expected to evaluate and respond to changing situations requiring attention
