About the position

This position is located onsite in Mocksville, NC. The role involves developing, evaluating, implementing, and improving manufacturing methods while maintaining related prints and documentation. The candidate will lead and participate in ongoing continuous improvement efforts and problem solving, evaluate suggestions, and manage projects with milestone reporting and value analysis as key components. Responsibilities include providing detailed die specifications for equipment purchases and acceptance, analyzing work samples to develop standards for labor utilization, and planning workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow to design layouts for maximum efficiency. The position also requires conferring with design staff regarding product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods, recommending methods for improving worker efficiency, and conferring with vendors to determine product specifications. The candidate will estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to inform management decisions, and will specify, install, debug, and train personnel on new equipment and processes to enhance the assembly of Larson products. Statistical methods will be applied to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.

  • Specify, install, debug, and train personnel on new equipment and processes.
  • Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing setting.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 10% of the time.
