About the position

The role involves reviewing product and circuit card assembly designs for design for manufacture driven improvements. The right candidate will have an extensive manufacturing background and be able to review production products and processes.

Responsibilities

• Reviews production and tooling methodologies and develops improvement recommendations
• Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines
• Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements
• Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices
• Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions
• Identifies and resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule
• Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts
• Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems

Requirements

• 5 or more years of production experience
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution

• Defense industry production experience
• Lean principles and technologies
• Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
