To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer located in Henrico, VA. The Manufacturing Engineer plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes by providing technical support maintenance of manufacturing methods by performing the following duties in the manufacturing phase of the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and implement manufacturing and test equipment concepts, processes, and technologies within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, while defining maintenance requirements and troubleshooting equipment failures.
  • Collaborate with engineering stakeholders and customers on problem-solving, continuous improvement, and corrective action planning.
  • Participate in the development and updating of PFMEA and control plans for new products.
  • Create and update documentation such as work instructions, specifications, and procedures to streamline production.
  • Analyze equipment and workspace layout for efficiency, while coordinating with production and management to align product specifications and production capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in engineering discipline or equivalent experience and training.
  • Engineering, professional or internship experience preferred.
  • Experience in lean and six sigma tools is preferred.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Suite.
