The Manufacturing Engineer ensures equipment aligns with global standards & that processes operate efficiently in accordance with our standard operating procedures. They ensure that manufacturing processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet quality standards. They are responsible for the standardisation of the way we work, communication & implementation of John Crane's global manufacturing processes at site. They will enhance and share best practice. They will utilise the Smiths Excellence System framework to improve manufacturing process efficiency and ensure these improvements are captured through the Smiths Excellence Systems project tools. They will maintain awareness/knowledge of the latest manufacturing technology to bring forward efficiency opportunities and improve the way we work. The manufacturing engineer will focus on improving production efficiency and reducing costs while maintaining high standards of safety and environmental compliance.
