About the position

The Manufacturing Operations Technician at CEREX Advanced Fabrics, Inc. is responsible for the inspection of produced materials and the operation of production line winders. This role involves assisting the Manufacturing Team Leader and Manufacturing Technicians in various production processes, ensuring that products meet customer expectations, and addressing equipment issues. The technician must operate machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect produced materials and operate production line winders.
• Assist Manufacturing Team Leader and Manufacturing Technicians with material production in spinning and bonding processes.
• Safely operate various machinery and ensure products meet customer expectations.
• Identify and resolve equipment issues in collaboration with maintenance personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding production status and issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Successful completion of initial 90-day probationary period.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills.

Nice-to-haves

• 1-3 years of recent experience in manufacturing or machine operations.
• Trade school education or experience requiring mechanical aptitude.
