Manufacturing Process Engineer Intern (Rail)

About the position

Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer Intern at our Rail Car manufacturing facility in Lincoln, NE. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the manufacturing process while supporting various engineering tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

• Learn and support the warehouse process including special kit carts and improve standard kit cart process.
• Assist engineers with tasks and projects, for example, tool design/modeling.
• Update operation procedures and work instructions.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement projects associated with the functional testing of passenger rail cars.

Requirements

• Some college experience preferred (Preferably students currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related degree).
• Must have High School diploma or successfully obtained a GED.

Benefits

• Part-time hours during the school year (10 hours/week minimum) and full-time during the summer.
