The Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer ensures product and process quality in manufacturing and assembly operations. This role supports process quality, production, and operational function.
Responsibilities
Assist with managing the quality control department, directing the work of technicians, calibration suppliers, engineers' documentation specialists and any other personnel, to satisfy the quality requirements for current business and business improvement.
Establish and manage product and process quality metrics for continuous improvement.
Support new product development and redesign to ensure compliance with quality and documentation standards.
Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections, maintaining required records and certifications.
Participate in the Material Review Board (MRB), handling nonconforming materials and corrective actions.
Develop and implement ISO-compliant quality control procedures.
Coordinate customer and third-party inspections for optimal order processing.
Maintain accurate calibration of measuring instruments and tools.
Utilize statistical analysis to ensure product and process control.
Develop and submit quality inspection and test plans as required.
Manage and conduct internal ISO audits according to the annual schedule.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in quality or engineering discipline.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in quality methods, ISO 9000, statistical tools, and process improvement techniques.
Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate across disciplines and management levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to manufacturing.
