About The Position

The Manufacturing Technician position is a permanent, full-time role based in Alameda, CA. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations. The primary responsibilities include manufacturing and assembling precision test and measurement equipment, calibrating and testing products, and assisting with inventory management. The job is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist team members with lifting materials.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with a valid government issued identification
• Should be mechanically-inclined and detail oriented
• Need to have fine motor dexterity to assist with assembly, calibration and packaging
• Must be able to follow verbal instruction as well as documented instruction
• Should be a self-starter with an inquisitive nature
• Prior experience in manufacturing is a bonus but not required
• Be team oriented, energetic, and a sense of humor is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Assembly of printed circuit boards into enclosures
• Quality control logging of test and calibration information
• Product labeling
• Packaging products for shipping and receiving packages and processing
• Manufacturing and assembling precision test and measurement equipment
• Assisting the purchasing and shipping departments with projects as needed
• Working on inventory control and participating in inventory counts
