The Manufacturing Technician I provides and supports manufacturing equipment, materials, and processes to production to ensure products are assembled in an efficient manner, meeting customer quality expectations and on-time delivery specifications. This role involves creating and maintaining machine programs and profiles for new and existing products, aiding in maintaining product routings, drawing packets, and interpreting instructions/specifications for manufacturing operators. The technician will troubleshoot operator problems successfully, work with leadership on training and process improvements, and communicate problems to Engineers and/or leaders. Additionally, the technician assists in the testing and qualification for new equipment, materials, and processes, performs experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis, and recommends additional equipment needs to leadership and/or Test Engineers for the product debug areas. Participation in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities is also expected. The technician must comply with and follow all company security policies and procedures, perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, and work on problems of limited scope while following standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Building stable working relationships internally and learning to use professional concepts are key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 0-3+ years of electronics experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • 2-year Engineering or Technical degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management.
