About the position

The Marketing Business Operations Program Manager at Palo Alto Networks is responsible for overseeing critical internal processes, programs, and planning activities within the Marketing team. This role is pivotal for driving operational excellence, process improvement, and collaboration across various functions to support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong analytical and organizational skills, and be passionate about driving efficiencies and improvements in business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business rhythm rigor
  • Provide planning support for quarterly business reviews, planning sessions, and launch governance
  • Run logistics for marketing leadership meetings, including agenda definition and meeting notes
  • Promote efficiency through process optimization and automation
  • Lead operational excellence and process improvement initiatives
  • Identify and structure systems to solve marketing program issues
  • Become a trusted subject matter expert on internal systems
  • Architect and complete projects aligned to key marketing initiatives
  • Ensure compliance across the marketing organization
  • Oversee license and access requests across marketing
  • Manage company merchandise store
  • Amplify company and marketing policies and hold teams accountable
  • Partner with Finance and People team for internal programs like onboarding and recognition programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a technical field
  • 5+ years in marketing and/or business operations
  • Experience in agile and traditional project management principles
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
  • Creative problem-solving abilities
  • Proven track record in automation
  • Self-starter with the ability to lead multiple projects
  • Deadline-driven and organized
  • Comfort with executive interaction
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Experience with digital communication and project management tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and Asana.
