The Saphire Event Group is seeking a creative and organized Marketing Content Creator to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about weddings and has a keen eye for trends and aesthetics. The Marketing Content Creator will be responsible for crafting engaging content that resonates with couples searching for their ideal wedding venue. This includes producing captivating photos, innovative social media posts, and informative blog articles that effectively communicate the essence of the Saphire Event Group's offerings. The ideal candidate will be adept at storytelling, using both written and visual mediums to highlight the significance of weddings and the unique experiences offered by the company. In this position, the Marketing Content Creator will compile weekly marketing statistics, collaborate with vendors to secure photos and necessary approvals, and maintain an organized photo library. They will assist the Marketing and Social Media Manager in generating fresh ideas for social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, as well as contribute to the company newsletter. Additionally, the role involves managing the “Pillow” thank you program, which includes tracking systems, ordering supplies, and processing shipments. The Marketing Content Creator will also be responsible for distributing new event reviews to the SEG team and assisting with website updates as needed. This position requires a proactive individual who is self-motivated and enthusiastic about promoting the Saphire Event Group's brand and events.

Responsibilities

  • Creating engaging content for social media, blogs, and advertising materials.
  • Compiling weekly marketing statistics to assess performance.
  • Collaborating with vendors to obtain photos and necessary approvals.
  • Updating and maintaining the photo library for marketing use.
  • Assisting the Marketing and Social Media Manager with content creation and fresh ideas for social media posts.
  • Helping to create the company newsletter to communicate with clients and prospects.
  • Managing the 'Pillow' thank you program, including tracking and processing shipments.
  • Checking and distributing new event reviews to the SEG team weekly.
  • Assisting with website updates when necessary.
  • Supporting the Marketing and Social Media Manager at events and programs to enhance social media efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications from a four-year college or university, or two years of related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, CMS, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud programs including Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Good knowledge of all social media platforms and their dynamics.
  • Extremely passionate about events and weddings, with a creative mindset.
  • Energetic, confident, and self-motivated individual.
  • Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in writing and content creation for marketing purposes.
  • Familiarity with wedding industry trends and aesthetics.
