Marketing Director

About the position

Golden's Marketing Director will oversee our company's marketing efforts. As Golden’s Marketing Director, you will be responsible for providing guidance to our marketing department; evaluating and developing sales/marketing strategies, planning and coordinating sales/marketing efforts, communicating the sales/marketing plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for our company's brand. Finally, you will oversee organizing company conferences, community engagements, and events. The Marketing Director must have proven experience in running a marketing team and marketing campaigns, as well as excellent communication skills, knowledge of social media and marketing trends and extroverted traits to cultivate substantial community relations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and developing our marketing strategies and marketing plans.
• Planning, directing, and coordinating marketing efforts.
• Communicating the marketing plan to the VP of Sales and Marketing and all other pertinent employees.
• Researching demands for our services and competition trends.
• Developing and managing advertising campaigns and necessary marketing materials.
• Coordinating marketing projects from start to finish.
• Identifying potential clients and maintaining relationships with potential referral sources.
• Compiling lists describing our services and speaking on each service Golden Manufacturing offers.
• Building brand awareness and positioning while maintaining all social media accounts.
• Organizing company conferences, trade shows, and major events and providing post-event reports and analysis.
• Overseeing social media marketing strategy and content marketing.
• Developing and managing sales/marketing budgets and submitting budget and expense reports to the VP of Sales and Marketing / designee on a monthly basis for reimbursement.
• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing, and coordinating a variety of duties and tasks for the Chief VP of Sales and Marketing and/or designees.

Requirements

• Minimum of an associate degree.
• Ability to work autonomously and independently as a self-starter and problem solver.
• Experience in marketing and running a marketing team.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.
• Great attention to detail.
• Professional and proactive work ethic.
• High competence in project management.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Office, and Outlook.
• Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
