About the position

We are looking for a Marketing Event Manager. This person should be an experienced Marketing Event Manager who understands all aspects of event planning and production for large audiences and intimate gatherings. This person should enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You must have excellent project management skills, strong attention to detail, be deadline-driven, and have a creative mind. If you can multi-task, coordinate numerous projects at once, and be willing to own the outcome of your event campaigns, this may be the role for you.

Responsibilities

  • Be the main lead on all event planning, logistics, and execution of Rokt's annual Global Kick Off (GKO) event held in January for all 600+ Rokt'stars worldwide.
  • Support large event activations to extend the value of event sponsorships with thoughtful communications to improve Rokt's industry position as a thought leader in ecommerce technology.
  • Oversee and drive key external event programs that align with Rokt's overall business objectives, product roadmap, and marketing calendar to drive business revenue.
  • Work across functions with Rokt's Executive Committee, marketing team, creative team, etc., to deliver exceptional, engaging, and meaningful event experiences.
  • Manage priorities, develop detailed production plans, and partner with leaders across all levels to drive cross-functional event initiatives.
  • Work with third-party vendors, production agencies, and the larger marketing team to determine communication objectives, define approaches, and develop promotional materials for all events.
  • Allocate resources and manage deadlines to ensure events are executed on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in event planning and management, particularly for large-scale events.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the ecommerce technology industry.
  • Familiarity with budget management and resource allocation for events.
