About the position

Lorenz Clinic is a values-driven, clinician-founded mental health practice specializing in Family Psychology. We are nationally recognized for our rigorous training model, mission-forward culture, and commitment to expanding access to quality care — especially through the development of a strong clinical workforce. Our team is growing, and we’re seeking a purpose-driven Marketing & Growth Manager to help us build relationships, attract clinicians, and deepen referral partnerships across Minnesota. This is a dynamic role for a connector, communicator, and builder. This is also an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the mental health field. You’ll play a direct role in expanding access to care by growing the clinician workforce and building the referral systems that connect people to services. If you're someone who’s inspired by mental health advocacy and wants to work on the provider side of the system, this role offers that rare chance. This is a field-based growth role designed for someone who thrives in motion — presenting, pitching, representing, and connecting. You’ll own clinician recruitment marketing, drive client inflow through referral partnerships, and build community awareness of our services. This role directly contributes to the growth of both our team and our reach in the community, working directly with the Founder to turn our vision into strategy and action. You’ll be out in the community — visiting universities, attending career fairs, hosting info sessions, and building long-term referral relationships with educators, hospitals, and community partners. This role blends employer brand marketing, relationship management, and local outreach — with support from a Marketing Coordinator.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute clinician recruitment campaigns (digital + in-person)
  • Implement outreach strategies that drive both clinician interest and client inflow
  • Build and maintain referral partnerships with schools, hospitals, and providers
  • Represent Lorenz at career fairs, info sessions, and outreach events
  • Create email, social, and CRM campaigns to nurture clinician and referral interest
  • Track performance metrics (applications, hires, referrals, client inflows, partnerships, etc.)
  • Collaborate with HR and clinical leaders to align messaging and strategy
  • Support brand presence, website updates, and marketing content

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in marketing, recruiting, development, talent acquisition, or outreach
  • Bachelor's in marketing or closely related business field
  • Strong communication and organizing skills
  • Experience in building trust in communities
  • Ability to thrive in scrappy, mission-first environments with a bias for action
  • Comfortable speaking, presenting, and writing with clarity
  • Understanding of how to track outreach ROI and iterate as you go
  • Some exposure to mental health, healthcare, or higher ed (preferred)
  • Open to occasional local travel, including driving between clinics or campuses

Nice-to-haves

  • Partnership management (real, in-person relationships!)
  • Experience managing PPC campaigns or optimizing recruitment spend
  • Familiarity with employer branding strategy in healthcare or nonprofit settings
  • Understanding of product-led growth principles or lifecycle marketing
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Benefits

  • Employer-sponsored health, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Paid parental leave (12 weeks, all genders)
  • Paid time off, holidays, and volunteer time
  • CEU reimbursement and professional development support
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Mileage reimbursement for travel
