The Marketing Manager - Journals, Portfolios & Related Products at the American Chemical Society is tasked with developing comprehensive go-to-market strategies for journals and related products. The individual will work closely with the Global Editorial Strategy (GES) and Global Editorial Operations (GEO) teams, as well as external Editors-in-Chief, to create and implement effective marketing strategies that align with the organization's goals. In this position, the Marketing Manager will collaborate with the Demand Marketing team to share insights and strategies, ensuring that marketing initiatives are well-informed and targeted. A deep understanding of researcher personas, use cases, and competitive landscapes is essential for crafting effective positioning and messaging that resonates with customers. The role also involves nurturing relationships with journal Editors-in-Chief and various stakeholders, requiring strong public speaking skills and the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for communicating marketing goals and results across departments, utilizing market research to inform strategies, and developing compelling messaging for journal programs. Attendance at conferences and events to promote ACS Publications is also a key aspect of the role, alongside managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring alignment with organizational priorities. This position reports to the Senior Marketing Manager - Journals, Portfolios & Related Products.
