About the position

BrewDog is on the hunt for a Retail Marketing Manager! We want to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as we are. Our bars are at the forefront of that mission, delivering amazing beer & customer service at all times. The Retail Marketing Manager will curate, manage, and execute successful brand activations, consumer & trade events, and unique partnerships while building and growing our bars in the public eye through outstanding, on-brand marketing. You will develop and own the retail events calendar, which plays a central role in bringing our strategy to life through unique experiences and activations. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of acute business acumen, a background in negotiating collaborations and partnerships, a commitment to innovation, and a passion for leading projects from concept stage to delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage our event strategy, including budgeting and project management of events.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders for retail-wide public event launches.
  • Maintain partnerships across the group, building strong relationships with the marketing, events, and reservations team in the UK.
  • Collaborate with the US sales and marketing team to create bar connections and assist in US-focused activations.
  • Monitor Las Vegas bar social and marketing presence using Digital Marketing Tools and Canva.
  • Create interesting and informative monthly meetings to communicate activations throughout the team.
  • Develop and maintain a retail brand standard events handbook.
  • Coordinate securing event activations, creating relationships with vendors including photographers and videographers.
  • Negotiate contracts for events and sponsorships to secure BrewDog the best preferred rates.

Requirements

  • Exceptional project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of all projects.
  • Commercially and creatively minded, with the ability to spot new opportunities.
  • Experience in leading projects from concept stage to delivery, with a focus on post-event reporting.
  • Keen eye for detail across the board, from budget management to creative execution.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once, with a track record in prioritizing and managing opportunities.
  • Experience in working with/for challenger and/or FMCG brands.
