About the position

The Marketing Manager: SEO & Growth Strategy is responsible for developing enterprise marketing strategies and ensuring the marketing strategy aligns with the enterprise-wide strategy to help drive growth from our public websites. This role will be responsible for generating leads and sales through the website by driving traffic growth via SEO, as well as website optimizations to improve conversion rates.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly analyze campaign and website performance to identify trends, gaps, user behaviors, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Track SEO and website sales compared to forecast and communicate progress compared to goal to internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with building the SEO strategic roadmap and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ensure that the website content, structure, and design are optimized for search engines to improve visibility and ranking.
  • Perform detailed QA on web properties in all environments, including meta descriptions, URL naming, and content.
  • Handle editorial tasks like drafting SEO content, writing page titles and meta descriptions, and giving strategic copy advice.
  • Recommend and partner internally to implement strategies that ensure a smooth, useful, and engaging experience for website visitors.
  • Oversee SEO & website optimization work process, from ticket logging to task completion.
  • Collaborate with digital content strategy for website improvements and partner with IT/scrum teams to ensure timely and accurate website enhancements.
  • Build market product/marketing plans.
  • Serve as a single point of contact on marketing issues and resolution.
  • Coordinate the development and review of website content with appropriate resources.
  • Provide leadership and direction to marketing agency, handle requests, and review suggestions.

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.
  • SEO specific experience including use of SEO platform tools (Semrush, Conductor, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, etc.).
  • Experience with Adobe (AEM, Adobe Analytics, etc.).
  • Relevant experience in the healthcare/insurance/financial services industry or other related highly regulated field.
  • Experience collaborating with a digital team to ensure marketing requirements are implemented accurately and on-time.
  • Analytical, data-driven, results-oriented personality; able to interpret data and to present findings.
  • Detailed oriented with proofing/testing experience.
  • Extremely organized and able to multi-task, managing multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.
  • eCommerce site optimization experience.
  • Knowledge of Scrum/Agile framework.
