About the position

The Marketing Manager at Global Schoolwear is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies aimed at retaining existing partner schools and generating new business. This role involves both B2B and B2C marketing efforts, supporting the sales team to enhance brand awareness and drive sales of school uniforms. The position requires collaboration with various internal stakeholders and oversight of marketing activities, including digital campaigns and promotional materials.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with CEO, Sales Director, and Operations Director to create marketing plans and strategies for existing partner schools.
  • Develop marketing plans to generate new leads and move them through the sales funnel.
  • Create and execute B2C marketing strategies to increase sales to parents of private school students.
  • Oversee the activities of the Marketing Coordinator and other internal partners in executing marketing tactics.
  • Direct digital marketing agency partners in executing campaigns.
  • Create regular reporting and analysis of marketing results to share with internal partners.
  • Oversee the creation of promotional materials for potential leads and existing school contacts.
  • Manage a marketing calendar and content plan, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Work with the finance team to develop and manage a marketing budget.
  • Support marketing events such as tradeshows and school prospecting events.
  • Ensure brand voice consistency across all marketing touchpoints.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in a marketing leadership role.
  • Experience in the school uniform industry (preferred).
  • Experience with Salesforce (CRM) and Pardot platform (preferred).
  • Knowledgeable in digital marketing channels.
  • Basic knowledge of design platforms like Canva.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and tasks.
  • Self-motivated and accountable.
  • Able to work with minimal direction.
