About the position

The Marketing Planning & Performance Analysis Lead at Brex is responsible for analyzing marketing data and translating it into strategic insights and recommendations. This role involves building and managing marketing funnel models, optimizing campaign performance, and collaborating with various marketing functions to enhance overall marketing effectiveness. The position requires a strong background in marketing analytics, forecasting, and performance optimization, with a focus on driving actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own planning models for marketing funnel targets by sale type, sales team/segment, and marketing channel.
  • Manage marketing funnel forecast models and provide regular updates to marketing leadership and executive leadership.
  • Own marketing channel and campaign optimization reporting and analysis, providing insights to marketing leadership and cross-functional team leads.
  • Partner with Data Science to maintain and evolve attribution models, ensuring accurate tracking of all marketing touchpoints and campaigns.
  • Build and manage website performance reporting and analysis scorecards.
  • Manage MVT (multi-variant testing) reporting and analysis for digital channels.
  • Own performance reports and dashboards, providing insights and recommendations to improve website performance.
  • Collaborate with the SEO team to enhance reporting in GA4.
  • Work with the Growth Marketing team to develop deeper channel metric reports and forecasting models.
  • Deliver standardized marketing forecasts, reports, and insights on pipeline performance, marketing funnel trends, website performance, brand media impact, digital ad channels, events, campaigns, and marketing budget/spend.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a Marketing Analyst role.
  • Experience in marketing data analysis and planning, translating insights for performance optimization.
  • Strategic marketing experience, preferably leading or supporting marketing planning cycles.
  • Experience with marketing channel mix analysis and understanding key metrics for digital and offline channels.
  • Proficiency in website analytics and translating key website metrics.
  • Experience using data for campaign planning and demand forecasting.
  • Experience building marketing target models and forecasting demand.
  • Familiarity with attribution models and analyzing multi-touch attribution data.
  • Expert communication skills to provide actionable insights to executive leadership and functional marketing teams.
  • Willingness to work in the office 2 days per week on Wednesday and Thursday.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $142,400 - $178,000 based on experience and location.
  • Equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the total compensation package.
