The position is a key contributor role within a prominent engineering company, focusing on sales and customer relations. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for customers, responsible for driving sales volume and growth within a designated territory. This role involves maintaining existing customer relationships while actively seeking to expand the customer base. The candidate will review customer drawings and plans to develop accurate cost estimates and ensure that products are properly engineered to meet customer specifications. Providing technical support to clients regarding the operation of motors, drives, and related products is a critical aspect of this position. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing and presenting customer quotations, conducting training sessions, and generating various reports as directed. Collaboration with the Accounts Receivables team to collect delinquent payments is also part of the role. The candidate will be expected to share market information and insights with other departments to foster a collaborative work environment. Participation in the Sales Engineer Certification Program will be required to enhance technical knowledge of the products offered by the company.
