Voted 2023 Manufacturer of the Year by Kentucky Association of Manufacturers for mid-sized companies, voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation is seeking a self-motivated, data-driven, and tech-savvy marketing professional to drive multiple projects forward. This position requires a creative contributor with strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail. The successful candidate will collaborate interdepartmentally with our team to support company growth and drive new business opportunities. In this role, you will lead sales marketing activities by partnering with sales and business development team members. You will support the sales team with marketing materials, research, lead generation strategies, campaigns, and tradeshows tailored to specific vertical markets. Your essential duties will include supporting lead generation strategies, executing and measuring digital marketing and advertising opportunities, and maintaining new business inquiries through our CRM system. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining dashboards and reports to monitor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, you will own the content creation for all sales-related materials, including presentations, brochures, and digital content. You will execute email marketing campaigns, plan and lead tradeshows, and support market research and strategy planning for existing and new markets. This position is overtime-exempt and will primarily work eight or more hours per day, five days a week, with the possibility of working nights or weekends for events, training, or customer visits. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Media Production, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, along with five or more years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in target audience segmentation, email marketing, social advertising, and CRM systems, with a preference for Salesforce and WordPress. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales marketing activities by partnering with sales and business development team members.
  • Support sales team with marketing materials, research, lead generation strategies, campaigns, and tradeshows per vertical market.
  • Support lead generation strategies per vertical market.
  • Partner with sales team members and third-party vendors to execute, maintain, and measure digital marketing/advertising opportunities.
  • Monitor and maintain new business inquiries and hand off to sales team within CRM along with creating and maintaining dashboards and reports.
  • Help set, monitor, and report out on KPIs.
  • Own the content creation for all sales-related materials, including presentations, brochures, digital and web content.
  • Execute email marketing campaigns.
  • Plan, lead, and execute tradeshows working with multiple external vendors.
  • Support market research and strategy planning for existing and new markets.
  • Order and maintain branded promotional items and gifts for customer visits and tradeshows.
  • Assist with sales-related communications topics as it relates to the overall company communications topic plan.
  • Assist with overall marketing budget.
  • May assist the marketing and communications team with other projects such as company brand communications, press-related events, and employer branding activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Media Production, Communications, Journalism or similar and/or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • Five or more years' related experience.
  • Experience in target audience segmentation, messaging, and brand communications guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Email Marketing, Social Advertising, CMS (WordPress preferred), SEO, and SEM.
  • Experience with CRM (SalesForce preferred), analytics, and reporting.
  • Strong presentation and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Deadline-driven with experience in project planning and project management.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills, including time management.
  • Willingness to live within a commutable distance of Shelbyville, KY and work onsite or hybrid schedule after training is completed.
  • Ability to travel domestically - up to 10% of the time, with possible international travel once per year.
